For Professionals

Student Clinic Supervision

If you are graduating from a counselling program and need supervised hours to graduate, we have you covered.  We often supervise students from Yorville University as well as candidates working toward full certification through the Registered Professional Counsellors Association. With us, you receive full counselling support, as well as office space.

Counsellors with less than 5 years experience:  Working in the clinical field can be challenging and isolating. We may find that some clients are unresponsive, or unwilling to try the strategies we offer, which can be frustrating. It also can be overwhelming to keep up with current research, decide which training will add the most value to your practice, and trying to do it all on your own. Connie at Incentive Counselling has over 30 years experience and offers supervision to help you gain confidence and competency in your counselling career.

Consultation

High Conflict Divorce –  Over the years, the need to provide clinical services to families entrenched in high conflict divorces has risen. More and more parents are struggling with an ex-spouse who is unwilling to negotiate parenting plans that are in the best interests of their children. Some parents engage in behaviour indicative of parental alienation, which is a distinctive response to the complex process of divorce and can constitute a pattern of severe psychological abuse. Connie has specialized training and expertise in parental alienation and is open to provide consultation/supervision services to clinicians.
